Better Than the
Sausage Sizzle

Match days, tournaments, club canteens and prizegivings. A Brezel needs no plate, no cutlery and no reheating — it travels boxed, it fills people up, and it is something your supporters will actually remember.

What we do for clubs

Every club has the same problem: feeding a crowd, on a weekend, without a kitchen.

Match days

Half-time food for the team, or something for the sideline. Delivered boxed to the grounds and eaten standing up in the cold, which is exactly what a Brezel is built for.

Tournaments

Whole-day events with a few hundred hungry people and one overworked canteen. Give us a week and the head count and we will bake to the number.

Prizegivings & club nights

End of season, awards, the AGM nobody wants to attend. Easy to hand around while people are standing with a drink, and no cutlery to wash afterwards.

Canteen supply

A standing weekly order for the club canteen, baked fresh that morning. Set the dates once and it runs for the season without re-booking.

Or let the club make the money

Instead of buying Brezels for an event, clubs can run the same arrangement our schools use: your club gets its own ordering page, families pre-order and pay online, we deliver on the day — and the club keeps 20% of every Brezel sold. Everything is paid for before we bake, so there is never unsold stock or money to chase.

How to book

1. Tell us the fixture

Date, grounds, rough numbers and whether you are buying for the club or selling to families. We come back with one quote covering Brezels and delivery.

2. We bake that morning

Hand-rolled, real lye, baked in Rangiora on the day of your fixture. Never frozen, never made the night before.

3. Delivered to the grounds

Boxed and labelled, to the clubrooms or the field. Put them out and get back to the game.

Club catering questions

Cost, numbers, notice, and running it as a fundraiser instead.

What does club catering cost?

Brezels start at $5 each with a minimum order of 10, and pretzel dogs and filled sticks run $6 to $8. For a tournament or a prizegiving we quote the whole order including delivery, so the committee gets one number to approve.

Can you handle a whole tournament?

Yes. We bake anything from 10 to 500+ for a single order. Give us a week for anything over about 200 and tell us the head count — tournaments are exactly the kind of number we plan for.

Can the club sell them and keep a margin?

Yes, and that is often the better deal. Clubs can run the same arrangement our schools use: your own ordering page, families pre-order and pay online, and the club keeps 20% of every Brezel sold with nothing left unsold. See our fundraising page for how it works.

Do they hold up at a canteen or a Saturday game?

Better than most things. A Brezel needs no plate, no cutlery and no reheating, it travels boxed, and it is filling enough to count as lunch — which is more than a bag of chips manages.

How much notice do you need?

48 hours for a normal order. For a season-long arrangement we set up the dates once and you do not have to re-book each week.

Which clubs can you reach?

Sports clubs across Rangiora, Kaiapoi, Woodend, Pegasus, Oxford, Amberley and the wider Waimakariri and North Canterbury, and into Christchurch by arrangement.

Feeding a crowd this season?

Tell us the date, the grounds and roughly how many. We will bake authentic German Brezels fresh that morning and get them to you.
