Le Marché Français comes to Akaroa — French food and craft vendors, La Brocante antiques fair, the Fancy French Pooch Parade, Le Cirque du Croissant and live music in the historic seaside settlement. The festival runs Saturday 10 & Sunday 11 October — we're only there on the Sunday, with warm Brezels on our stall all day.

A Halloween night market with over 60 makers and creatives, food trucks, live performances and spooky decorations. The Mākete runs Friday 30 & Saturday 31 October — we're only there on the Friday night, as our stall is at the Hanmer Springs Fête on the Saturday.
